From helping in the office, supporting events, providing entertainment, and taking someone out to lunch, volunteers are at the heart of operations at the Vision Resource Center of Berks County.
Giving generous gifts of time and talent, individuals and corporate volunteers groups support the VRC and have a hand in almost everything we do.
No matter what your age, skills, or experience, your volunteer contribution makes a difference! Whether it is making time once a year or once a week, volunteer assistance always makes a big difference to those in need.
Volunteers are needed to help us drive clients to our events as well as lawn care and help around our grounds. If these things interest you, additional information is below:
Drivers – we are in need of help with providing transportation (to and from home) for our clients to activities, such as:
- Lunch Bunch – every third Wednesday of the month
- Sight Loss Support Group – every fourth Wednesday of the month
- Social/Recreational activities – first Wednesday of the month
If you’re able to provide assistance with transportation for any of these programs, please contact Carolyn Krick at ckrick@vrcberks.org, or call 610.375.8407, ext. 110.
